All of the products pictured except Gotta Have Fate were provided to me by Barielle for either my personal use or a giveaway, so I wanted to give them away to you lovelies! I chose what I think are their best and most popular colors :D.
Many of you said you'd like to see pictures from my wedding, and this giveaway was meant to celebrate it, so I have way too many for you here haha. :D

Aw your wedding pictures are so beautiful =) And girl we totally have the same hair! Blonde and wavy all the way =)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! And yes I love /that/ part of my hair haha. It's not all perfect - frizzy, split ends, what not. I loved my wedding hair! It was so complex :P.
DeleteOh and I made my hair piece too :P.
DeleteBeautiful wedding and is that a threefold cord. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! The cord is just symbolic for us really, as handfasting is even where the phrase "tie the knot" came from. We did a relatively traditional wedding with this as a part of it. We used our 3 wedding colors and 3 other colors that felt meaningful to us, along with many beads and charms that we picked out together for the tassels. I'd love to do a blog post on how to make one and what ours looks like since I do crafts on my blog too :).
DeleteGreat idea you really should do a blog post very creative what you did and what a beautiful wedding best day of ur life until the kids come :) Kids and marriage top 2 best days of anyone's life.
DeleteExactly! We have a pre-conception appointment in two weeks :D :D :D!
DeleteWell I wish u best on ur new family and the family u add to make it bigger ur'll have ur ups and downs but the ups will out do the downs :)
DeleteI've definitely figured that part out! It's impossible to never argue/fight/disagree. What's important is that the good far outweighs the bad, which if you're with the right person of course it does!
DeleteThank you :D.
You are a very cute couple, the wedding looked awesome :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! We're still loving it. We've been married for *checks app* 82 days and I still can't get over "wife", "husband", the rings, just having the title, I love being on his bank account and using it to buy groceries even haha. I can buy groceries all by myself now! (We are Navy and shop at the commissary so even on deployment if I wanted to save money I had to have a married friend take me grocery shopping.)
DeleteGorgeous wedding photos! I love beach weddings, and this looks like such an amazing setting!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It was actually on the beach on base where he works. It's lovely out there.
DeleteI love the handfasting! Since I'll probably get married in a courthouse, I probably won't bother, but I think I'd like to do it for our "hooray we got married" party we have eventually (and also jump over a broom, that one's always fun).
ReplyDeleteYes he didn't want to do the broom jump haha. I was kind of nervous in that dress myself, but it is fun. If I had a more supportive and understanding group of friends and family I'm sure my wedding would have been much more off the wall lol. I thought about the being married in a circle or spiral idea with all your guests surrounding you (that has symbolic meaning). I wanted to pass the rings to be blessed, but we just had the Officiant sort of say it instead. I thought the words we chose were so intense and beautiful. We also did a dedication of hands. We wrapped the cord around once for each vow. I loved our "with this ring" part: "Wear this ring forever, Jeremy, as a symbol of love and peace and of all that is unending. As I place it on your finger, I give you all that I am and ever hope to be."
DeleteThat's what we said :).
Congrats on your wedding, lovely pictures!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteBeautiful pictures and congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYou're such a lovely couple! I wish you an abundance of dancing naked, just the right amount of ridiculous arguments over nail polish and more smiles than tears. Seems to have worked for me and my guy so far.
ReplyDeleteHaha thank you, that's awesome. You're reminding me of our guestbook tree. We asked people to write something interesting/advice/wishes, sign it, then hang it on a tree. We got some pretty crazy stuff haha, that would have been perfect!
DeleteYou two are SO GORGEOUS together :*) Congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteWe just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary...pretty much everything has happened from our vows except the richer part LOL. We've had our ups and downs, 2 kids (17 & 10), but I'd marry him all over again. On the beach this time though :D
Here's us, 20 years ago:

Omg how sweet! I can't wait till we get there together. There are still so many parts of life to go through :).
DeleteYou guys are such a beautiful couple! I wish you all the very best for a long an happy life together xx
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Deletecongrats :-D
ReplyDeletethe pictures are gorgeous :-D
Aww how sweet thanks :D.
DeleteU look sooo pretty in ur wedding pics! :)
ReplyDeleteHow sweet :). You know I always love your nail art!
DeleteYour wedding pics are just way too sweet :') I'm not married and I don't have a partner but I guess one of my favourite memories on love is when my family celebrated my parents' 25th wedding anniversary last year :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting this giveaway and I wish you and your other half a very very happy life :)
Thank you Iris! I hope we can be that couple. Considering the divorce rate you never really know, but I can't wait to celebrate anniversaries like that!
DeleteI`m not married still but I have a little 4 years old girl and she is my treasure and my birthday present - she was born a day after my birthday- what a great present! :)
ReplyDeleteAgreed, how awesome :).
DeleteMany of these awesome stories aren't getting posted, so I will post some of them without names so as not to call you out but still share your awesome stories :D.
ReplyDelete"One of my favorite wedding memories: my dad secretly dressed up as a gorilla and showed up at the reception (he was in the wedding, so this was a surprised) and danced to me to "jungle boogie". i had no idea who it was unti the end -- he truly surprised me!"
"I waited for 5 yrs for my parents to agree for me to get married to him. He's from a different religion and that's a real big deal here. Now we are happily married for 3.5 years :)"
ReplyDelete"My favorite memory was how nervous I was walking down the aisle...but when I took his hands I was completely calm. :)"
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way. I was totally fine until right before it was time to talk down the aisle (our aisle was a big wooden bridge that went up, over, and down the sand dunes). As I was about to take that first step my knees shook and the tears started pouring. I said "it's real"...like this day has finally come. I quickly wiped them with a carefully stashed tissue, help my stepfather's arm, and we processed. That and the next 30 minutes was the best moment of my life.
"Before I got married I begged my husband not to smash cake in my face. I told him I'd be wearing a beautiful gown, have my hair and makeup done up and I just didn't want to risk ruining it. The night of our wedding, as we cut the cake, we took some lovely pictures...of me nailing him with a huge slice of ganache and buttercream smothered goodness. Mwahahaha. :D"
ReplyDeleteLOL! I had to make him swear on his life like 8 times that he wouldn't smash it in my face.
"Aw I have been married for 13 years. We've had wonderful lives together and still get on well. We went through a few rough patches but what do you expect! Being strong and willingness to work the problems out did help us going through those hard times. I look forward to growing old happily with my beloved husband :)."
ReplyDeletePerfectly said! Who on earth has ever been in a relationship with no issues/problems/disagreements? That's simply not in the definition of love.
"My wedding was 6 years ago in August and I love everything about my wedding. I love the colors (the bridesmaids dresses were cinnamon, the flowers a lovely burnt orange rose and sunflowers, the cake was DELICIOUS) and I loved planning my wedding but most of all, being with my husband! There wasn't any drama, everyone had a good time, nothing catastrophic happened... well, kind of but that's another story. I love weddings :-)"
ReplyDeleteHaha there are plenty of stories behind my wedding as well. And I LOVE sunflowers and almost had them in my wedding :).
"I cried, which made my now Hubs cry, which made his family cry...it was a whole chain reaction, but oh so special!"
ReplyDeleteI love it when he gets emotional, which is a rare thing. He absolutely had a death grip on my hands during the ceremony and I had to whisper to him "ease up on the grip love" haha! I have never seen a happier smile on his face ever in his laugh than when he was looking at me as our officiant spoke, we said our vows, placed our rings on each other...amazing. The mothers definitely didn't have a dry eye as we had a surprise Mother's Roses ceremony where we presented them with roses :).
"My favorite thing about my wedding is that it was in VEGAS. It was still classy and romantic at one of the hotels but it was a blast to get out on the town afterwards!"
ReplyDeleteBangin'! We joked that we were going to go to Vegas and elope, then get married anyway at home as planned. Best of both worlds lol.
"We didn't have a wedding, but are planning one now. I can't wait till he sees me in my dress with our whole family watching."
ReplyDeleteIt's just amazing! I'm so happy for you :).
"I've been with my boyfriend for 5 years, and one of our favorite moments of all time was a rainy fall night, early in our relationship. We were a long distance couple for 3 years, and I was visiting him at his apartment. We were laying on his living room floor talking, and eventually were both in tears together because of how much we loved each other. I can't believe I had one of those moments you see in movies: perfect guy, rainy chilly night, cozy inside, crying tears of joy together sharing our love for one another <3."
ReplyDeleteI think those are the moments that everyone lives for...beautiful!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAC4VHWgVUA&list=UUyULhTzCBRYW0UFis3vUhpg&index=23&feature=plcp my wedding video <3 We had a great time and some laughs at the ceremony u will see LMAO! the candle wax was hotttttttt!!!
ReplyDeleteOmg that is just beautiful! And your officiant is so funny and loving :D. We have a wedding video too that my uncle made from pictures he took.
Deletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9H87Xi_lOdo
"I'll do when I really don't want to. Why? Because I made a commitment that I would." I love your ceremony! The place you chose is so gorgeous and homey. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Barnes :).
DeleteWe had so many beautiful words in our wedding I can't even just pick one! Without our responses and things, these were our vows combined with our handfasting. For each vow the cord was wrapped around, and tied at the end:
"Jeremy, Will you be Megan’s faithful partner for life?
Megan, will you be Jeremy’s faithful partner for life?
Will you be each other’s constant friends and one true love?
Megan, do you promise to love Jeremy without reservation?
Jeremy, do you promise to love Megan without reservation?
Will both of you stand by one another in sickness and in health, in plenty and in want?
Jeremy, will you stand together with Megan in times of joy and sorrow?
Megan, will you stand together with Jeremy in times of joy and sorrow?
Will you share the burdens of each so that your spirits may grow in this union?
Megan, will you always to be open and honest with Jeremy, for as long as you both shall live?
Jeremy, will you always to be open and honest with Megan, for as long as you both shall live?
Will you dream together to create new realities and hopes for this marriage?
Jeremy, Will you honor this woman?
Megan, Will you honor this man?
Will you both seek to cherish and strengthen that honor?
The knots of this binding are not formed by these chords but instead by your vows, your pledge, your souls, and your two hearts, now bound together as one. Either of you may drop the chords, for as always, you hold in your own hands the making of this union."
Congratz on your wedding :) Wish you both gud luck :)

ReplyDeleteLoved your handfasting how beautiful and romantic!
ReplyDeleteI loved the one of you and your husband leaning back on the sand. You looked so happy, just like you were "shinning "you were so happy.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful wedding pictures! I like the carriage ride one and the beach ones the best, so cute :)
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are absolutely stunning. My closest friend actually got married that same day! Great day for a wedding :]
ReplyDeleteWe're not married, but this past summer, my boyfriend and I went on our first vacation together to Destin, FL. It was really romantic watching fireworks, having dinner together, walking along the ocean (though it rained a lot) and just experiencing a new place together!
I love the picture of you walking down the aisle with your husband-to-be looking on! Such a sweet shot! Congratulations!! :)
