Barielle Some Like it Hot Swatches

Barielle's Some Like it Hot is a fun collection of some of their brightest colors for Summer. As far as These are all available separately, but getting them together in the set makes them just $5 a piece!
We have Gotta Have Fate, Life of the Party, Lily of the Valley, Sunshine, and Surf's Up. All very bright "fashionably fabulous" hues, especially since brights are really in this Summer.

Let's start with my favorite of the bunch, Lily of the Valley. It's definitely bright like the other, but in a different way. Instead of being brilliant and almost neon, the extreme shimmer is what really makes it glow. It's a medium grassy green with amazingly deep glowy shimmer. This is not with flash or anything. This is really how it looks on the nail. Click the pic to enlarge it, I dare you. WOAH!

Lily of the Valley

Sunshine is a super bright creamy sunflower yellow with a hint of silvery yellow shimmer.

Sunshine - You can really see the shimmer if you enlarge the picture.

Life of the Party is a berry hot pink creme that really nice and bright.

Life of the Party

Surf's Up is a really bright sky blue creme that is versatile in different lights.

Surf's Up

Gotta Have Fate is definitely another favorite. It is a lovely freaky bright (how do you even tell if a color is neon lol?) pinky red orange coral. Yes, I really feel like it is all three colors at the same time lol. In dimmer lights it's more of a red color like below, but in brighter light it has that wow coral pop. LOVE corals lately, and this one is definitely on my love list. I have actually had this one for ages now and never wore it, so I might need to find some generous way to get rid of my other bottle *cough comment on this post for an extra entry in....something :D*.

Gotta Have Fate
You can buy Barielle polishes for $8 on their site. You get %15 off for registering with your email, and they're pretty much always buy one get one 50% off! Ulta also sells them and you can use their coupons if you'd prefer to buy them in person. Don't forget to check out Barielle's Facebook page too!

This set is really cute and in right now, and for $5 a bottle I'd go for it. There isn't a polish in there I don't like! All of the formulas were perfect two coaters. The green is just SO shimmery it looked like it was going to apply like a frost, but no - perfection
Gotta Have Fate and Lily of the Valley are definitely my favorites from this collection. Which are yours? Do you have any?

OPI Halloween Collection So So Skullicious

OPI's new mini collection for Halloween 2012 So So Skullicious, scheduled to release this Fall, is already out in some places! The packaging is just adorable!
Here is a close up of the polishes and Dia de Los Muertos style sugar skull art.

If only that art were printed on the bottles, wowza!

Here is the back of the box with color descriptions and pictures of the nail decals that come in the box. It looks like it's just 10.

And the polishes: Hi Pumpkin!, A-Rose From the Dead, Mourning Glory, Candlelight
They seem to be just regular cremes, which is a bit disappointing. And none glow in the dark either, I tried!

Any of you see this out yet, like it, want it? It really makes me want to do some sugar skull nail art.

Lil Perfection Confection

I have another polish from Nail the B.Y.T.C.H. for you today. This is Lil Perfection Confection.
It's a lovely dark shimmery gray with copper glass flecks.
Sometimes it even has a steel blue kind of sheen to it. The application was a perfect two coats.
The copper glass flecks really surprised me and make it so much more unique. LOVE!
You can buy this and many other 3 free Nail the B.Y.T.C.H. polishes on their website for $6.

Liquif Eye Eyeshadow Transformer

Too Faced Liquif Eye is a really cool product I ordered from Apothica.com. It's a solution with a nice foamy brush that you can wipe into any eyeshadow to make a smudge-proof, water resistant, liquid liner in that color. I love wearing different colors of liners so this is just awesome!

This is how I use the product: When I remove the brush I wipe the excess liquid off on the inside rim. I then wipe/twirl the brush into the eyeshadow color till the tip is covered on all sides. Then apply like normal liquid liner. You can see the flexibility and a close up of the foamy tipped brush in the little left picture.
Liquif Eye using Urban Decay Oil Slick. You can see the glitter in it. I also lined the corner of my waterline, but that bit didn't stay as well because it's only water resistant.

Liquif Eye using MAC Swiss Chocolate. This is a matte shadow and it keeps its matte finish once it dries.

Liquif Eye using Tarte V. This one is very shimmery and it keeps its shimmery finish. I did this one over a shadow do you can see it works just as well. I also did a little flick at the corner so you can see that you can use it to make precise designs.

This product works best with very pigmented eyeshadows. I tried using a Maybelline and Ulta and they didn't show up as well. It really just depends on the shadow you use. It lasts just as well as any liquid eyeliner except on the waterline. It's just so fun to make any eyeshadow I want into a nice precise liquid liner!

You can buy Too Faced Liquif Eye Eyeshadow Transformer at Apothica for $17.80. It's a great site because you can find loads of different popular brands there and save on shipping, getting them all in the same place.
Let me know if you have tried anything like this and like it!

Nail the B.Y.T.C.H. Caught In Candy

So I discovered this interesting polish brand on another beauty blog and just had to try it. The company is called Nail the B.Y.T.C.H. Awesome play on words, but there is a real meaning behind it. It stands for Be Your True Creative Heroine. How inspiring!

I love the bottle shape, logo, everything! They were kind enough to send me these two polishes for review. You'll see the other swatch soon! My husband actually helped my pick both of these out :D.
This is Caught In Candy. I thought I hated frosts until I put this on. It is a very shimmery teal frost. The application was amazing for a frost and the brush strokes were barely noticeable, as you can see.

This one is much more unique than other teals I have seen. So many teals that look similar to this are really blue, but the green and extreme shimmer in this one makes it stand out. In different lights it looks even more green than blue! Very versatile coloring.
Here is a close up of the finish.

You can buy this and many other 3 free Nail the B.Y.T.C.H. polishes on their website for $6.

Zoya Gloss Collection Swatches

We ask, and Zoya listens! Jelly polishes are very popular lately, and Zoya's Gloss collection has three lovely sheer jellies to offer.

Zoya Paloma is a bright fruity pink sheer jelly.
This is Claire's Candy Shop sandwiched with Paloma. Nummy!

Zoya Frida is a lovely blue green teal sheer jelly.

This is Icing Magnetic Attraction sandwiched with Frida.

Zoya Katherine is a smoky deep purple sheer jelly.

This is 365 Days of Color Rock Candy sandwiched with Katherine.

Absolutely hate visible nail line? Try a coat or two of Gloss over an opaque nude polish like Zoya Farah. You get the same juicy finish, with no vnl! From top to bottom it's Frida, Paloma, and Katherine.

The Gloss collection can be applied over loads of different polishes to change the hue or add a totally different feel. Play around with it, it's fun!

Zoya Daul with (top to bottom) one coat of Katherine, Frida, and Paloma. The pinky nail is just Daul.

Zoya FeiFei with (top to bottom) one coat of Katherine, Paloma, and Frida. The pinky nail is just FeiFei.

Zoya Rekha with (top to bottom) one coat of Katherine, Paloma, and Frida. The pinky nail is just Rekha.

Zoya Evvie with (top to bottom) one coat of Katherine, Paloma, and Frida. The pinky nail is just Evvie.
I used two coats of Gloss for these swatches, three total for the jelly sandwiches, and just one over the other polishes. The formulas were really great! They dried a bit faster than regular polishes. They were only streaky with a single coat, which so many polishes are, so no problem there. As with many polishes, they will bubble if the coats are applied too thick, so don't try to cheat when building up your layers. I loved the look at two coats with some mild visible nail line. Of course the finish was a delicious squishy shiny awesomeness. And the removal, a breeze! You want a quick mani? Two coats of one of the Glosses, and out the door. No base, no top, perfectly shiny.

You can get these polishes on Zoya's website - $24 for the collection of 3 or $8 for one.
If you sign up for an account with this link you'll receive a coupon for a free bottle of Zoya nail polish! If you add two more polishes to your order you even get free shipping. Awesome deal! So you could get this full collection for $16 and free shipping = $5.33 a polish.

Zoya Designer Collection Swatches

Zoya's Diva collection with luscious cremes is perfect for Fall.

Rekha is a gorgeous red creme with a dark sassy tinge.

She is so squishy and shiny! I think she's my favorite from this collection.

Toni is a rich wine grape purple creme.

She can appear dark, but never too dark. Very trendy!

Monica is more a blue toned purple creme that reminds me of blueberries, how they can often be more purple than blue.

I would wear this color any time of year!

Evvie is a dusty earthy grey creme with the slightest hint of green. I really didn't see half as much green as some of the other swatches I've seen. Very cute and very in for Fall, but not very green.

Not to mention Evvie is an adorable name!

Noot is a dusty charcoal grey creme.

I can't really think of Noot as a girl's name though lol.

Natty is a rich medium-dark blue with a touch of dust.

Such versatility in different lights! I love that about Zoya's polishes. The name Natty makes me think of nautical :D.

All these formulas were superb two coaters, though Evvie just needed one. Honestly half of them were so close to getting by with one. If you're in a hurry and want to slap one on, these will definitely do.

You can get these polishes on Zoya's website - $48 for the collection of 6 or $8 for one.
If you sign up for an account with this link you'll receive a coupon for a free bottle of Zoya nail polish! If you add two more polishes to your order you even get free shipping. Awesome deal! So you could get this full collection for $40 and free shipping = $6.67 a polish.

Which one is your favorite? Did you already order some, or the whole collection?
