Lush Haul and Oatifix Mask Review

Lush haul!!! I'm so amazingly glad we have a Lush store now. You have no idea.
Godiva shampoo bar, Jumping Juniper shampoo bar, Oatifix fresh face mask, and Fair Trade Honey shampoo sample

It's made with banana, almonds, oatmeal, vanilla, and more. They are $6.95 and the lady told me they last for 3 weeks in the fridge and you get about 3 face masks from them. I only needed a little for this mask (above pic), and I got about 5 masks from it. It lasted longer than 3 weeks for sure. Maybe the potency of the ingredients fades or something?

Bare it all lol!! The mask felt nice and cool going on, soothing. I left it on for about 13 minutes (recommended 10). It tingled maybe like 10% and still does a good hour later. I have really sensitive skin and it definitely isn't painful or irritating. I have combination skin (dry and oily in different places) and am acne prone, but I also wanted one with a little exfoliation, so they recommended this one. I think the exfoliation comes from the ground almond and oatmeal and it's very light and gentle.
Here is a close up so you can see the texture of the mask. I really wasn't sure how much to put on so I just went with it. I definitely felt the creaminess all over my face even though it doesn't look like it's all over. And it smells just like banana nut bread mmmm!!!

I really like this mask! My skin felt perfectly balanced and moisturized and my skin looked a little brighter and more evenly toned. No more flaky dry patches either! I didn't even need to moisturize, I just toned after. Lets see how long this lasts and if it helps my break outs!

What are your favorite products from Lush, and how did you like any face masks you tried?

  3. That was a great haul! I've tried Jumping Juniper too and Oatifix. Oatifix is for dry skin but also sensitive skin so I tried it, despite my skin type is like yours, combination skin with the T área being oily, I also have sensitive skin so I tried it. So this face mask was good but it brought more oil to the oily zones. Gladly it didn't make any reaction on my skin :) But still it isn't the proper face mask from Lush for me. I already tried Catastrophy Cosmetic and I believe that's the one that suits me better for now. I still need to try others :P I am a ultra Lush fan and I absolutely love some of their products like Porridge Soap, It's Raining Men Shower Gel, American Cream Hair Conditioner, Soft Coeur Massage Bar and practically all of their bath bombs and bubble bars :D Oh, and, just like any nail polish freak, Lemony Flutter, of course! :D
