Defiant Pedi

MeMeMe Defiant, that is :). It's a European polish. Drool ladies.

I was feeling something dark. This is two coats Defiant with one thin coat of Color Club Holiday Splendor from my haul yesterday.

Here is Defiant in a couple different lights. At its darkest it only looks black out of the corner of your eye. When you actually look at it, it's just super dark teal.

Here is is topped with the thinnest coat of Holiday Splendor I could muster, to add a little glitter bling.

Holiday Splendor is holo glitter in a bright green slightly teal jelly base. The glitter flashes blue, green, and gold.

My combo ended up a slightly darker ChG Atlantis....crap lol but quite a bit more green. The more I look at it, the more I like it and realize that it's different!

Nails for a Cause: Ovarian Cancer Awareness

I've done nails for a cause before (MADD, LGBT), and love doing it. So do the other girls in my FB group :). This month is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month. Teal Toes is an organization that supports ovarian cancer awarness by encouraging teal pedis (and more). Fun huh!

So here are my teal toes in support of those who have dealt with ovarian cancer.

I tried my first water marble ever...on my big toes. Why do I have to make things hard on myself? I used Barielle Decadence, GOSH Holo, and Me Me Me Defiant. Here are closeups of the toes. The others are 3 coats of Barielle Decadence. (click to enlarge)

Here is me marbling hehe. I taped my big toe and used a paper towel to cover the others since I didn't want to get them all funky and wasn't going to marble them. It worked really well to protect the other nails. 

 As you can see :D. SPLOOSH! Awesome huh? The Gosh didn't work like I wanted it to and kind of separated into shimmer, but it's still kinda cool.

Rockstar Toes - China Glaze Atlantis

My toes look freaking awesome! Karin, from the Nail Polish and Gossip Facebook group, picked up this beauty for me! I was skeptical at first and thought it might not look as good as I wanted, but I put it on and BAM! Rockstar toes!

I swear this polish looks 100x better in person and way more blingy :D

China Glaze Atlantis is a teal jelly polish loaded with small round holographic glitter. In very dim light, the glitter appears silver, but it still super pretty. In dimmer light than you would imagine, the holo glitter really shines. Indoor or outdoor, in good light this polish is WOW! With a top coat this polish isn't gritty at all, but you can still feel the glitter a tiny bit when you rub your finger over it. It definitely doesn't bother me.
