I Voted!

Today is Election Day in the USA! Did you vote? I did! I have never gotten a chance to do an Election Day mani.
 I love my sticker :P!

Figured it would be a great time to use my Lynderella Remember for the first time. I've been saving it for a special occasion. This is two coats of Remember over Zoya Dove.

I am SO excited and overjoyed to own this polish. It is one of 9 bottles that are out right now, so it's about as limited edition as it gets. It was made for Memorial Day, so it's very close to my heart because my husband is in the military.

Lynderella Remember is a light gray jelly polish packed with patriotic glitter! It has large squares in red/blue, large white hexes, large whiteish silver holo stars, white bar glitter, light pink bar glitter, medium squares in red/blue/white/teal/light pink/dark pink, medium hexes in teal/blue/white, small hexes in red/dark pink/white, microglitter in white/red/blue/dark pink, and pearly white and multi-colored shimmer.
The white glitters are an almost iridescent matte finish. This is SO much more than a red, white, and blue polish!

And a closeup! I couldn't take pictures in the sunlight so you can't really see all the shimmer here, but it's there!

Did you vote!? Let your voice be heard!
Thank you again for this gorgeous polish Lynn <3

You're a Witch!!

Happy Halloween!! I was too busy last night to post my Halloween mani :P. I was feeling something witchy.
Creepy trees, a pumpkin, and a flying witch!

I must say my right hand looks better, go figure!

I tried to double stamp the pumpkins with white then orange, but even that didn't show up. I just did the white first and painted over it carefully as a guideline.

I used Borghese Purple Confetti for the base, topped with Girly Bits Purple Potion (witch appropriate huh?) for some extra sparkle. I did gradient tips with Butter London Black Knight. The yellow is China Glaze Sunshine Pop with a little white swirled in for a cool moon. The orange is China Glaze Candy Corn. I added a coat of Lynderella When the Moon Was a Star to make a fun night sky behind my haunted house on my thumb.

Borghese Purple Confetti surprised me so much with the mostly matte finish! Yea, it's a little gritty because of the glitter, but it was still a cool surprise!

Here's what I wore for Halloween! I'm Pocahontas...or her albino cousin...

I hung out with my friend Brittany, who dressed as a super cute witch. One of the kids came up to the door and said "YOU'RE A WITCH!" Lol! Well yea!

 NOM  NOM Milk duds!!!

What did you dress up as for Halloween? Link a picture in the comments!!

Super Lemming Haul

I got my limited edition Lynderella Remember in the mail today!!! <3 <3 <3
Pretty much my biggest lemming ever. What's your biggest lemming and have you ever gotten one that seemed impossible to get?
If you didn't know, I have been wanting Lynderella Remember since it came out earlier this year for Memorial Day. It was a limited edition polish with a grey jelly base, red, white, and blue glitter, and white stars. It is the only actually designated military polish I have found. Someone suggested I write to her, just to see if she had anymore or or planned on making them again, can't hurt. I did...

She and her brother wrote back to me and said they had made extra ones that they planned on auctioning off for a Veteran charity...and that they would like to give one of those to me...as a gift in thanks for our service because my husband is in the Navy. I'm still bouncing off the walls and overwhelmed by their kindness <3 <3 <3.

Birthday Cupcakes!

Happy birthday to me! My 23rd birthday was actually a couple days ago, May 4th. We've been busy doing fun stuff for my birthday weekend, so here are my birthday nails!

Cute cupcakes! I wanted to use my wedding colors because I've got wedding on the brain lately.
The polishes I used: Catrice Sold Out Forever as the base color, Zoya Cassi for the cupcake icing, Revlon Mystical raspberry jelly for the cupcake liner lines, Lynderella Love Lace and Lilacs for the sprinkles, and I use StrideRite white for the liners.
Here are closeups of my accent nail cupcakes. I also did my thumbs, but they bubbled really bad because I did the topcoat in the car and obviously didn't do it well.

As I was taking pictures, a lady bug landed on me :D. They are very sentimental to Jeremy and me. Today is one year since my best friend Marian died, so this was really special.

Here is Moose playing with his personal catnip plant in the sunroom while I was taking pictures. You can see his little kitty mouth :P.
We went to the Botanical Gardens for my birthday. The rose garden was at its peak.

We took the boat ride and saw the resident eagle that has nested in the Gardens. I love seeing them wild like this!
We picked our own strawberries!

And we had fun at the gardens. Smile! :D

My first Lynderella!

Got in on a group order from Lynderella the other day.
Ignore that I forgot to put a second coat on my middle finger lol!!

Very Prety Vampire has a dark burgundy purple jelly base with small red, black, and fuchsia hex glitter; large red square and hex glitter; and small fuchsia square glitter. She is pretty dark, but the metallic glitter catches the light and makes it pretty much never look black. The formula was pretty great, just gotta be careful with glitter hanging off the tips of your nails. This is with one coat of SV, and that tamed the glitter just fine.

I'm really loving this polish! It's my first Lynderella and I super <3 them. I'd have more, but they're pretty darn expensive at $12 plus shipping. You can order them whenever she has her shop open (she'll post about it) on her blog. I think Llarowe.com will also be carrying them soon.

Since it was a group order, my friend Angela actually shipped them out to each girl. She included a sweet little "happy engagement" gift of pink holo earrings :D. They're made with Sally Hansen Ruby Diamond!
