No More Waity Katie!

I got Butter London No More Waity Katy in my recent Ulta sale haul!

NMWK is a lovely purple glitter. The base is a very dusty gray purple, with small round glitter that flashes bright purple, bluey purple, and silver metallic purple.
These are all two coats. I didn't layer it over anything like many people do. It was really quite opaque. If I felt particularly perfectionist I could have added a third coat.
You can see the metallic side of the glitter in better light. And the depth of the glitter below.
I'm really not sure why so many people are having issues with this polish. I have heard people say that it's thick, patchy, gritty, and hard to take off. I find that none of those are true and I really love it! Although I haven't tried taking it off yet lol. This polish is super cute and in style right now.

Won Halloween Giveaway!

I won Polish Fixation's Halloween giveaway! I love it! She shipped the stuff out so fast!!!
It included candy, nail stickers, a note, and a Funky Fingers polish Halloween set.

I love how she spiced up the package with pink zebra tape and Halloween stickers!!

Here are the polishes in the FF set. They aren't named.

This was really hard to capture. The true color is in between this one and the one in the set. It's a rick purple creme that's very dark and winey.

Looks like a regular black creme.

Gorgeous red with red, blush, and gold shimmer

Bluey purple shimmer base with hot pink and purple microglitter

Nail stickers with bats and glow in the dark moons. These are different than usual nail stickers in that they're gel. They might even be reusable. Interesting!

Thanks so much Erika!!!

Jouer Lip Enhancer

Loving this Jouer Lip Enhancer Conditioning Lip Treatment I got from my September Birchbox!

This is what it looks like in the tube. It's a sheer liquid balm that's tinted pink. I say balm because it is thicker and glossier than something like Chapstick, but not super thick and shiny like a gloss. It's in between.

Here it is on my lips. It's a really nice, natural, moist look. And it's good for your lips too! It's more for moisturization than a pretty look.

Urban Decay Pocket Rocket

I ordered a couple things from the Hautelook Urban Decay sale. One of them was Urban Decay Pocket Rocket Lipgloss in Jesse.
It has really cool packaging! It's wide and flattish so it really does fit nicely in your pocket.

Packaging swatch of the color
On the top of the lid it says "rub me" :P
All the colors have different boy names and guys on the cap. Here is Jesse.

When you tilt it, you see Jesse in his underwear haha!

Jesse is a purpley red lip gloss with a bit of shimmer. It reminds me of a glass of rich red wine.

Such a pretty color!

Heres a quick cell phone pic of me wearing Jesse. It's not quite as dark and pupley as you'd think once you put it on your lips. You can see in the swatches above its about half way sheer too. Really nice!
It smells and tastes a little funny, but not bad. Kind of like campfire marshmallows lol! It's smooth and not sticky. It's really slippery and last a good while, like your usual gloss (maybe 2 hours). Be careful if you're applying it on the go without a mirror and you rub your lips together. It sort of made that extra line of gloss if you know what I mean, so just make sure you check in a mirror real quick before you run off again. I love it!!

Barielle Falling Star

What a pretty polish! Barielle Falling Star is a dusty/true blue with copper/bronze small glitter. It's ever so slightly jellyish so you still get that look of depth with the glitter, but has great coverage in two coats. The formula was fine, but a bit thick (so I added some thinner) and not very self-leveling.

Pumpkin Patch Nails!

October just started and I'm feeling all Fall-y. I bought these cute pie pumpkins at the store the other day, and they're sitting around my house as decoration until I get the urge to cook them. They inspired me to do pumpkin patch nails!

Here are all the polishes I used in this mani.

Heres a look at the sponging before I added pumpkin lines and leaves. I went in and added a little more CoverGirl Candy Corn after this to try and make the pumpkins less neon from the Orly Orange Punch. Sponging is so fun and the cleanup wasn't as bad as it looks here.
My nails, pre-cleanup, made another entrance during the drawing of Secret Pumpkin names for my Facebook group. It's like Secret Santa, but Halloween themed! And I drew the names out of my fiance's sailor hat :P.

My First Butter Londons!

Do you remember the buy one get one free Butter London sale at Ulta about a week ago? My Ulta didn't have the two I wanted, and I only wanted these two, so my friend Lindsay picked them up for me!
What is that in the background, what is it sitting in, you ask? Why yes, it's a diaper. It's her signature care package touch haha. They work very well as polish padding :D.

I got the lovely No More Waity, Katie and Victoriana.

Butter Londons have this cute little bird on the inner cap (the big square one comes off). Cute!

Did any of you get in on the sale? Which ones did you get?
How would you like to see NMWK and Victoriana?
